The building features a double facade and uses both thermal and electric solar energy. The low total energy requirements are achieved through thermal mass activation and effective waste heat utilization.

Interior view of the building services engineering design: Offices are heated and cooled by individually adjustable under-floor convectors. Hygienic air-supply requirements are also met by this system. Exhaust air is removed via suspended ceiling areas in hallways.
